Oh! Bakyuuun (Known as Ghoul Panic in the export version) is a comedy adventure game, set in a haunted mansion. Using a PlayStation GunCon light-gun, take on the might of vampires, monsters, mummies, skeletons and spooks to open the locked doors and uncover hidden bonuses.

A conversion of the arcade game from 1999, with 3 difficulties and hidden game modes. There are also PlayStation exclusive game modes, including Survival, Adventure and Remix.

OhBakyuuun-01cWhat secrets lie in the HAUNTED HOUSE!!! I don’t scare easily, but I got to be honest, you wouldn’t catch me going anywhere near that old deserted house on the hill. I’m telling ya, you’d have to be mad to go there.

All the towns folk know the stories, the old legends of the crazy old witch who turns strangers into cats to add to her collection…. And the ghosts that haunt the corridors… and the mad scientist making monsters out of who knows what. It’s enough to turn your hair white with fear! But listen to me. If you are determined to go and explore up there, you’d better be armed.

Loads of holy water should do the trick. Oh, and don’t go in alon–take a friend who knows what they are facing. Even better, up to eight of you can go in guns a-blazing and have a real Ghost-busting party!

Players take on the role of the sharp-shooting Richard Miller for another episode of international intrigue and duck-and-shoot action in Time Crisis: Project Titan. This is Namco’s third Time Crisis game overall and the first developed exclusively for the PlayStation console. The game’s subtitle refers to an involved scheme that frames Miller as a political assassin, leading most everyone he encounters to shoot first and ask questions later.

TimeCrisisPT-01eSTORY:
Following the assassination of the President of Cuba, Xavier Serrano, VSSE agent Richard Miller has been implicated in the crime. V.S.S.E. only has 48 hours before it must turn Miller over to the Cuban authorities. During this time, V.S.S.E. cannot provide Miller with any assistance, but can only provide one lead—a VSSE agent named Abacus (real name Marisa Soleil) has information Miller needs to process his name-clearing spree.

Abacus is currently located at a yacht owned by the criminal organization Kantaris. V.S.S.E. leaves Miller with the yacht’s coordinates before the agency leaves Miller on his own. Unless Miller can clear his name within the 48-hour block, the covert agency will have no choice but to disregard the work Richard completed as a V.S.S.E. agent.

As Richard Miller, your primary objective is to eliminate all moving targets and save the girl; if you accept this mission, there will be lots of carnage and death following in your wake.

Developed by Namco and previously released in the Arcade, Time Crisis is a first-person on-rails light gun shooter; there are two versions — one with the Guncon peripheral and one without. Using either control method, you’ll blast your way through three stages, each with four areas filled with hired goons and vile boss characters. When the action stage begins, you’ll start from a crouched position while enemy troops try and thwart your objective. While they’re reloading, stand up and start spraying the area. You will have the option of crouching behind objects at anytime during gunfights. Just remember to keep your gun reloaded!

TimeCrisis-01dSTORY:
The main plot of the original Time Crisis arcade game release involves an attempted coup in the fictional republic of Sercia. For a millennium, the Garo family ruled Sercia with an iron fist. In 1995, the V.S.S.E. International Intelligence Agency sent William MacPherson, who successfully toppled the Garo regime and became its first democratically elected president.

The last remaining member of the Garo family, Sherudo Garo, sought to recapture the throne from the hands of President MacPherson. He sends a mercenary named Wild Dog and kidnaps the president’s daughter, Rachel. Garo demands military secrets in return for Rachel’s safe return or he will kill her by sunset. V.S.S.E. sends its best agent, Richard Miller (also called the One-Man Army) to break in, invade Garo’s castle and rescue Rachel.

GAMEPLAY:
Time Crisis is a three-dimensional first person rail shooter similar to Virtua Cop and The House of the Dead installments, in which the player holds a light gun and goes through the motions of firing at on-screen enemies. Time Crisis is best known for its cover system, in which players can duck behind cover to avoid enemy fire and reload his weapon. There are three stages, each consisting of three areas and a boss fight. Continue reading ‘Time Crisis, (SLPS-00666)’ »

The PlayStation GunCon Controller (also known as the G-Con in Europe) is a family of gun peripherals designed by Namco for the PlayStation consoles. The original controllers used traditional light gun technology, while newer controllers use LED tracking technology.

Basically the GunCon 1 is designed for the PS1, the GunCon 2 for PS2, and GunCon 3 for the PS3. (Although there is ‘some‘ compatibility between models, it is best to get the right gun for your machine)

The GunCon series of light-guns replaced the earlier “Justifier/HyperBlaster” guns which supported a limited list of games (but we also offer the Justifier/HyperBlaster to play the other games!)

Below is a list of supported games and the required controller:
