The Dakar Rally (or simply “The Dakar”; formerly known as “The Paris Dakar” or “Paris to Dakar Rally” and now as “The Lisboa Dakar”) is an annual off-road race, organized by the Amaury Sport Organization. The race is open to both amateur and professional entries. Amateurs typically make up about eighty percent of the participants.

Dakar97-01cDespite its name it is an off-road endurance race, called a rally-raid rather than a conventional rally, the terrain the competitors traverse is much tougher and the vehicles used are true off-road vehicles rather than the modified sedans used in normal rallies. Most of the competitive special sections are off-road, crossing dunes, mud, camel grass, and rocks among other obstacles. The distances of each stage covered vary from several kilometers up to 800 to 900 kilometers (500–560 mi) per day.

The PlayStation game tries to show how difficult the Dakar Rally is, but the game is just a few stages and seems too short to get a real feel for the long grueling rally. Perhaps the Dakar really deserves a longer game. The game features different camera angles and 3d graphics.

B.L.U.E. – Legend of Water is an action adventure game that allows the player to go in underwater ancient ruins and artifacts to discover and explore in an aquatic environment.

The main character is a seventeen year old girl called Maya, whose adventure starts off with a helicopter trip to the marine research station where her father, Halbert, is working. Maya is fond of the ocean, and soon spends her days swimming around with her pet and trusty sidekick, a dolphin called Luka. Eventually, she stumbles across ancient ruins on the ocean floor, and she’s drawn into a whole new world of underwater exploration and mystery…

BLUELegendofWater-01dObviously, the game puts you in the role of Maya. You swim around with Luka, trying to solve the various puzzles and figuring out the mystery of the submerged ruins. In an attempt to add depth to the gameplay, Hudson has made Luka vital to solving many of the puzzles by making him obey simple commands such as push, stay, or swim away.

But the most crucial point is the gameplay, and this is, to an extent, B.L.U.E.’S saving grace, the sense of wonder and mystery is there. It may be buried deep within the core of the game and require a bit of work to get at, but it’s there.

A Nanjarin is a virtual pet simulator in which the player can raise his virtual pet and make him grow training him, giving him food, entertain and giving him love. Think of them as Tamagotchi’s on steroids!

A digital pet (also known as a virtual pet or artificial pet is a type of artificial human companion. They are usually kept for companionship or enjoyment. People may keep a digital pet in lieu of a real pet.

A Nanjarin, (SLPS-01424)Digital pets are in that they have no concrete physical form other than the hardware they run on. Interaction with virtual pets may or may not be goal oriented. If it is, then the user must keep it alive as long as possible and often help it to grow into higher forms. Keeping the pet alive and growing often requires ‘feeding’, grooming and playing with the pet. If the interaction is not goal oriented, the user can explore the character of the pet and enjoy the feeling of building a relationship with it. Often these games use realistic visual effects or interaction to make the pet appear alive and give a sense of reality to users.

Digital pets can be “simulations of real animals, as in the Petz series” or “fantasy ones like the Tamagotchi” Unlike biological simulations, the pet does not usually reproduce. They generally do not die.

Raise a virtual pet on the big screen from baby blob to a galloping furball. Choose from a number of different animals and guide their growth
