Zap! Snowboarding Trix ’98 (AKA Phat Air Extreme Snowboarding in the export version) is an snowboarding game that lets you choose from five different characters to compete in six different disciplines which are split into nine different levels.
Zap! Snowboarding Trix ’98 has four different playable modes to choose from, Championship, Time Competition, Free Style, and VS Modes.
In this mode you choose from five different characters with varying skills. Once you have selected a boarder you proceed to the first race. There are eight races and depending on how well you do, you get points to upgrade your skills between races. Championship Mode includes all the full courses from downhill to half pipe with slalom and freestyle jumping in between.
You race for the best time.
This mode allows you to pick the particular course you want to race on and then compete for the highest point value
In this mode you race against a friend but with a side by side – vertical split screen.
Race one of the five cool boarders down snow-clad slopes at a dizzying pace and pheel the snow in the phace as you tumble down the piste to end up in a cold snowdripht. Phace the phoes in slalom or phreak out in the phree-style competition throwing your body around to phascinating rhythms. Wipe out your competitors in any of the ten disciplines of the championship.
